Clocking out is not an Option

It’s been around a month since I decided to venture to become an entrepreneur. Man, it’s been quite an experience and quite the work load. But honestly, I’ve never been happier. I get to put my two passions together: business and sports. It’s not like working for someone that you have to do what they do and everything is certain, no! With entrepreneurship, everyday is uncertain. Everyday is fresh and thrilling. the uncertainty makes my job quite exciting. I never know if I’ll meet some one as a potential client or come up with a brilliant idea or just simply flop.

What I’ve come to learn that entrepreneurship is that its not just a career, it’s not just a way to make easy money, or be the boss. Entrepreneurship is a journey of self discovery. You discover who you really are and what drives you to keep going. Entrepreneurship is a test of character. Are you willing to continue even with many failures? Can you handle working longer hours than everybody else? Because as an entrepreneur, you never clock out. It takes sacrifice to make your dreams come true. I believe that the hallmark of great entrepreneurs is to understand the road to success is through a path of failures. No matter how hard times may be, you have to keep going.

To me these tests of character are essential to entrepreneurship, because entrepreneurs create the future.

New Year Goals

Well, it’s the new year and people are out there making resolution in hope to better themselves. I personally don’t like resolutions, because we tend to stray away from what we want (ie. lose weight, wake up earlier, get straight A’s. etc.). I prefer to make New Year Goals! The reason being is that it give me a reason to keep going and striving for what I want. I can create little sub goals that will allow me to achieve the bigger picture, which of course is the most important part.  I can go on and on about this, but I prefer not to. Anyways, here are my new year goals (in no particular order) along with subgoals.
